Nosy Tanikely is the marine reserve of the region. Protected from fishing for many years, it's a true aquarium where clear, shallow waters (between 2 and 12 meters deep) welcome all the region's fauna and flora, notably numerous hawksbill turtles.

Nosy Sakatia is an island located west of Nosy Be. With shallow seagrass beds (2 to 3 meters), it's the ideal spot to observe and admire the magnificent green sea turtles that come to feed in these calm waters.
