If I were an office tool, I would be a stapler, because I am here to bring ideas and projects together so that they stay solidly connected.

If I were a word to describe my career at Détours Madagascar, I would be "explorer," as I spend a lot of time discovering new things and new places through the creation and implementation of trips.

If I were a Détours Madagascar trip, I would be the East – Andasibe, the Pangalanes Canal, and Sainte Marie: an exotic experience full of mystery and diversity. I would be like the lush forests of Eastern Madagascar, teeming with life and vibrant colors, with tranquility and a deep connection to nature.

If I were a region, I would be the Analamanga region, where the capital, Antananarivo, is located. It's a dynamic place where different cultures meet, and where history meets modernity.

If I were a village, I would be the village on Sainte Marie Island, a tribute to maritime beauty. Between its white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and picturesque fishing villages.

If I were a landscape, I would be a forest, where the trees rise majestically towards the sky. An environment where every branch invites adventure and every leaf whispers a story.

If I were a plant, I would be the Ravinala, also known as the "Traveler’s Tree." It embodies the resilience of Madagascar's nature with its fan-shaped leaves and slender silhouette. It is also a symbol of travel and adventure.

If I were an endemic animal, I would be the comet butterfly. For me, this butterfly represents the beauty, grace, and rarity of Madagascar's fauna, and as an endemic species of the island, it also symbolizes the fragility of Madagascar’s biodiversity and the importance of its preservation.

If I were a month of the year, I would be April, the month that marks the beginning of my adventure with Détours Madagascar. It is also the end of the rainy season. I particularly appreciate April because the temperature is cooler, creating a drier and more pleasant climate.

If I were a means of transport, I would be an airplane. Capable of traveling quickly from one place to another, crossing borders and obstacles, always ready to explore new horizons. I would be equipped to reach great heights, symbolizing my ambition and determination to move forward.

If I were a clothing item, I would be a scarf – soft and warm. Always there to provide comfort and reassurance, while adding a touch of style and personality to any outfit.

If I were a natural element, I would be the wind because it embodies freedom. I would be elusive and capable of traveling wherever I please.

If I were a travel accessory, I would be a backpack. Practical, easy to carry, and ready to go on an adventure at any time.

If I were food, I would be pasta. Loved by many for its simplicity and ability to pair with various flavors.

If I were a sound, I would be the regular and soothing sound of rain against the windows, creating a relaxing and comforting atmosphere.

If I were a language, I would be Darija (Moroccan Arabic dialect). The language of my host country. Reflecting the richness and diversity of Moroccan culture, it’s a blend of Arabic, Amazigh, French, and Spanish. It is a vibrant language full of character, capable of conveying emotions through every word and expression.

If I were a sport, I would be surfing: embracing the waves and coastal landscapes with a deep connection to nature and a constant quest for new adventures.

If I were a quality, I would be perseverance. Even when obstacles seem insurmountable and the temptation to give up is great, I remain firm in my determination.

If I were a flaw, I would be procrastination (laughs), sometimes taking a bit too long to start my projects, but once I begin, I am unstoppable.

If I were a Malagasy personality, I would be my friend Raymond Rajaonarivelo, a well-known Malagasy filmmaker recognized for his work in the international film industry. He is the only one, so far, to have presented a Malagasy film at the Cannes Film Festival, where he won the Audience Award. Raymond is someone with a deep passion for the art of cinema, using creativity to share important and inspiring stories with the world by highlighting aspects of Malagasy culture or addressing universal themes through his works. Just like Ray, I hope to be a significant influence in my field, with a commitment to excellence and a desire to make a difference through my work. A great friend who has managed to retain his childlike spirit.
