"I enjoy reading every morning the requests and desires of our travelers who want to explore our beautiful country and write to us. The requests are very diverse, and it’s a real opportunity for them that Détours offers tailor-made trips. I realize every day how lucky we are to have such a beautiful island with so many natural treasures."

If I were an office tool, I would be the internet connection. I am indispensable and efficient in completing our daily tasks at the office. When the connection isn’t working well, everyone complains because nothing works as it should.
If I were a word to describe my career at Détours, I would be "effort," because no matter how difficult the situation, I am always ready to move forward and make as much effort as possible to achieve a satisfactory result.
If I were a Détours trip, I would be Discovering Madagascar from West to East for the Tsingy, which I love, and Sainte Marie Island, which I adore.
If I were a region, I would be Eastern Madagascar. In the past, our country was called "Nosy Maitso" or the "Green Island," and it is the only region that can truly embody this name. I dream of Madagascar becoming a green island again like it once was.
If I were a village, I would likely be one of those small villages lost in the countryside, far from the big city, and not needing much to be happy.
If I were a landscape, I would be a beautiful sunset seen from Mont Passot in Nosy Be.
If I were a plant, I would be a four-spices plant, the fragrant leaf tree that, in my opinion, is one of the most beautiful creations of the plant world.
If I were an endemic animal, I would be a Microcèbe Mignon, as its name indicates, it is very cute, and I adore it.
If I were a month of the year, I would be December, my birth month, but I also find it special and joyful. It is a month that brings the joy of living.
If I were a means of transportation, I would be a bicycle, a mode of transportation that does not pollute the environment.
If I were a piece of clothing or an accessory, I would be a watch, as it reminds me how precious time is.
If I were an element of nature, I would undoubtedly be water, an essential and indispensable natural resource for life.
If I were a travel accessory, I would be a camera, as it allows me to capture the moments and places I’ve been lucky enough to visit.
If I were food, I would be chicken with fresh cream.
If I were a sound, I would be the laughter of my children, which reminds me of my reason for being in this world.
If I were a language, I would be English. It is a universal language, and speaking English opens many opportunities.
If I were a sport, I would be basketball, which I have been a fan of since childhood.
If I were a quality, I would be acceptance. With every difficulty or hardship that arises, I always find the strength to accept the situation and show courage in order to keep moving forward.
If I were a flaw, I would be fear. For all my first-time experiences, no matter the situation, I always feel fear inside me, but that doesn’t stop me from moving forward.
If I were a Malagasy personality, I would be Professor Rakoto RATSIMAMANGA, a Malagasy doctor and scientist who discovered the world’s first plant-based anti-diabetic medicine. His foundation created a preventive and curative remedy for the Coronavirus called Covid Organic. It still produces medicines, cosmetics, and essential oils today. I am proud of him and the precious legacies he left us.
