Daily trekking (interspersed with a few technical passages but perfectly guided and accessible to all capable hikers who follow instructions), allows you to discover the exceptional beauty of this massif, both in its diversity and its unique character. Anchor your steps, your hands, your hearing, your skin, your sense of smell—in short, all your senses—at every moment, every breath unites you with this nature in its purest form, and it brought me joy, peace, lightness, and light in my eyes!

The caravan cooks restore you at each meal, all varied, balanced, suited to the physical effort.

The organization of a trek like this is enormous, Détours Madagascar is top-notch. It's hard to imagine the work that goes into it beforehand, especially in a country like Madagascar. Bravo!

There were 10 of us travelers, all different in our life journeys, temperaments, characters and ages, yet mutual support and kindness were naturally our watchwords. Beautiful encounters between beautiful people.

This trek was for me like a retreat, a pilgrimage. I don't remember ever feeling so in harmony with myself and with nature. It was a journey outside of time—I lived in the present moment, not a minute before or after, in my own world, a complete letting go that I never could have imagined possible and which came so instinctively...

The well-being is immense and the return to reality difficult.

I remain grounded with all the gifts that Makay has given me.
