Choisir un itinéraire à Madagascar, c'est composer avec un territoire de 587 000 km² où chaque axe routier impose son rythme. La RN7 entre Antananarivo et Tuléar reste la colonne vertébrale du pays : 950 kilomètres qui traversent rizières en terrasses, massifs granitiques de l'Andringitra et savanes du sud. Comptez sept à quinze jours pour la parcourir sans courir.

Nos équipes sur place construisent les circuits sur mesure en partant d'une question simple : quelle Madagascar voulez-vous voir ? L'île ne se visite pas d'un bloc. Mieux vaut choisir deux ou trois régions cohérentes, plutôt que d'épuiser les transferts. Quelques combinaisons éprouvées par nos guides malgaches :

  • Hauts Plateaux + RN7 + parc de l'Isalo : la classique culturelle et paysagère, 12 jours
  • Côte est et canal des Pangalanes + parc d'Andasibe : forêt humide et lémuriens indri, 8 à 10 jours
  • Ouest sauvage, avenue des Baobabs et tsingy de Bemaraha : accessible uniquement d'avril à novembre, 10 jours
  • Grand Sud, Tuléar et lagon d'Ifaty : plages, dunes et villages vezo, en extension
  • Nosy Be et archipel de Mitsio : finale balnéaire, 4 à 7 jours

La saison sèche, de mai à octobre, ouvre l'ouest et le sud ; la période de novembre à mars convient mieux à la côte nord-est et à l'observation des baleines à bosse autour de Sainte-Marie en juillet-septembre.
