Choisir de voyager en Madagascar pour ses paysages naturels, c'est accepter que chaque journée de route révèle un décor radicalement différent du précédent. En 1500 kilomètres du nord au sud, l'île passe de la forêt humide aux savanes épineuses, des rizières en terrasses des Hauts Plateaux aux lagons turquoise de Nosy Be.

Nos équipes basées à Antananarivo construisent les itinéraires en fonction de cette diversité géographique. La RN7, axe historique reliant la capitale à Tuléar, traverse à elle seule cinq écosystèmes majeurs : massif granitique de l'Andringitra, vignobles de Fianarantsoa, falaises de l'Isalo, savanes du Sud. Côté ouest, les tsingy de Bemaraha, classés à l'UNESCO depuis 1990, alignent leurs lames calcaires sur 1500 km² au-dessus des gorges de la Manambolo.

Selon vos envies, plusieurs ambiances de paysages s'ouvrent à vous :

  • Les baobabs de l'Allée de Morondava, géants millénaires alignés sur la piste de Bekopaka
  • Les forêts primaires de Ranomafana et d'Andasibe, où la canopée abrite l'indri, plus grand lémurien vivant
  • Les massifs gréseux de l'Isalo et les canyons du Makay, terrain de randonnée encore confidentiel
  • Les lagons et îlots du Nord, autour de Nosy Be et de l'archipel de Mitsio
  • Les hauts plateaux volcaniques d'Ankaratra, à plus de 2000 mètres d'altitude

La saison sèche, d'avril à novembre, reste la fenêtre la plus confortable pour parcourir les pistes de l'Ouest et du Sud. Nos guides francophones adaptent le rythme aux conditions du terrain, souvent imprévisibles passé la fin de Tana.
