I have been a tour guide since 2005. I applied to Détours thanks to a friend who already worked there. I plan to stay because I’ve become part of a very friendly team that promotes sharing and mutual help. I particularly enjoy my job because of the sharing, respect, and discovery involved. I love communicating with new people, especially those with different beliefs, languages, and cultures.
It’s truly a privilege, an honor, and a great pleasure for me to share all of this with my fellow travelers. I speak Italian (which is quite rare here) and French. My strengths are my ability to listen and explain, as well as my sociability.

If I were a region, I would be Diana, for its products that make our country proud: vanilla, ylang-ylang, cloves, etc.
If I were a village, I would be Mandritsara, in the southwest, where traditions are still very much alive.
If I were a landscape, I would be the Red Tsingy in the north of Madagascar, from Diégo to Nosy Be, for their rarity and uniqueness.
If I were a plant, I would be vanilla, because of its many derivatives.
If I were an endemic animal, I would be the star tortoise of Madagascar, a unique and peaceful animal.
If I were a month of the year, I would be May, the month of my birth, a beautiful time for an escape to the South.
If I were a means of transport, I would be a cart, the first “car” in Madagascar.
If I were a piece of clothing or an accessory, I would be shorts. I feel most comfortable in shorts, especially when traveling.
If I were a natural element, I would be water and air. Combined, they give life.
If I were a travel accessory, I would be a backpack.
If I were food, I would be any kind of seafood.
If I were a sound, I would be the cry of a bird.
If I were a language, I would be Tsimehety, a beautiful language spoken by only a few.
If I were a sport, I would be swimming.
If I were a quality, I would be sociability.
If I were a flaw, I would be impatience.
If I were a Malagasy personality, I would be Tence Mena, because of his strong character.
