My journey is quite atypical because I studied electronics before diving into tourism. Before joining Détours Madagascar, I had already worked as a tour guide for another company. Today, I have found a family where I continuously learn and grow. It is a source of pride for me to work at Détours Madagascar!
I have an increasing thirst for discovery, sharing, and learning. This is what I love about my job as a guide. Adventure tours (on foot, of course) are so exciting! As a lifelong learner and self-taught individual, I am currently studying botany and lepidoptera (butterflies). I speak Malagasy, of course, French, and intermediate English.

If I were a region, I would be Vakinakaratra, for its agricultural and cultural richness…
If I were a village, I would be Bekinana, in the Makay massif, because of the people who live there, whom I consider my family.
If I were a landscape, I would be the dunes of Androka, in the extreme south of Madagascar.
If I were a plant, I would be an orchid, rare, beautiful, and somewhat "marginal."
If I were an endemic animal, I would be a star tortoise from Madagascar, harmless and courageous.
If I were a month of the year, I would be May, the month of my birth.
If I were a means of transportation, I would be my feet. I love walking and hiking…
If I were a piece of clothing or an accessory, I would be a bandana. I have them in all colors and always wear one on my tours.
If I were a natural element, I would be the wind—powerful and rebellious…
If I were a travel accessory, I would be a knife.
If I were food, I would be fish, prepared in all kinds of ways.
If I were a sound, I would be metal music.
If I were a language, I would be Japanese.
If I were a sport, I would be weightlifting.
If I were a quality, I would be kindness.
If I were a flaw, I would be kindness.
If I were a Malagasy personality, I would be Gothlieb—not as a comedian, but as a political critic.
