How to get to Madagascar?

Madagascar is connected to Paris, Marseille, Nairobi, Johannesburg, Mauritius, Reunion Island, Mayotte, the Comoros, Bangkok, Singapore, Guangzhou, and now Addis Ababa.

Airports and Flights: The majority of international flights land at Ivato-Antananarivo International Airport [TNR]. There are also connections between Nosy Be [NOS], Sainte-Marie Island [SMS], Mahajanga [MJN], Tuléar [TLE], Fort-Dauphin [FTU], Reunion Island [RUN], Mayotte [DZA], and the Comoros [HAH].

Airlines :

• From France, the country is served by Air France and Air Madagascar, the national carrier. Air Madagascar's long-haul flights connect Paris to Antananarivo three times a week, while Air France operates four weekly flights. Air Madagascar also offers flights from Marseille to Antananarivo. Air Austral can take you to Madagascar via Reunion Island. Direct flights last about 10 hours, while flights with layovers, such as those offered by Turkish Airlines via Istanbul or Ethiopian Airlines via Addis Ababa, take about double that time. 
• Air Austral, a French airline based in Reunion, offers connections with Reunion, Mayotte, and Moroni (Comoros).
• South African Airways and Kenya Airways serve the island via Johannesburg and Nairobi, respectively.
• Air Mauritius operates flights to Mauritius.
• Ethiopian Airlines connects Antananarivo and Nosy Be to Europe.
